It's hard to define the music of Knapsackheroes! and that seems to be a deliberate move on the band's part as they zig zag across musical genres refusing to be nailed down. With their beginnings in Nashville, they had their pick of genres to develop and they chose to blend several styles into their own unique mix.

A beloved Sunday morning tradition is coming to an end as radio personality Brian Mason has announced his decision to bring "The Brian Mason Show" to an end on Sunday, June 26, 2011. It was while listening to Mason's show in the 1980s that I first heard contemporary Christian music. It was the first time I had ever listened to Amy Grant or Michael W. Smith, and their music changed my life.

Bellevue Baptist Church sponsored its 13th annual free community-wide Easter egg hunt today at Red Caboose Park in Nashville's Bellevue area. The April 23rd Easter event drew children from all over Middle Tennessee as well as visitors staying at the Bellevue Microtel Hotel.
