Trunk-or-Treat delights kids of all ages at Bellevue Church of Christ

As reported in Halloween weekend for the kids in Bellevue, TN, Sunday night, Oct. 30 was the night Bellevue Church of Christ hosted their annual Trunk-or-Treat festivities for children of all ages. It was a perfect cool autumn night for the event, and the church parking lot was full as was the Red Caboose parking lot across the street.

Pet peeve: Plagiarism & copyright Infringement of doll articles


As recently reported in Pet peeve: 'Rare' & 'HTF' dolls on ebay, one of my pet peeves is sellers using descriptions that amount to fraud on ebay. Another way that doll collectors and sellers defraud others is by plagiarism and copyright infringement of doll articles, photos and other intellectual property.
Sometimes I find my doll articles and photos on blogs, websites, and Facebook, often copied WORD-FOR-WORD, with only my name and links removed.

Nashville Hutton Hotel Cancels Contract with Anti-Shariah Group

The Hutton Hotel in Nashville has canceled its contract with an anti-Shariah conference which was planned for Nov. 11, 2011. An article in the Oct. 25 edition of The Tennessean revealed that the management of the hotel said its reason for the cancellation was fear the event could attract protests and disrupt business after hotel management allegedly received calls from both the public and some of their clients complaining about the event.

My Story

I  have been involved in skin care since graduating from college when I became involved with a well-known direct selling company on a part-time basis. Several years later, I had the opportunity to work with the Macy's chain in the cosmetics department. Both jobs allowed me to learn a great deal about skin care products and ingredients, but it was my own struggle with skin cancer on my face and the resulting damage: hypersensitivity and hyperpigmentation that drew me into the world of medicated skin care products.
