The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announces award winning duo for KING & COUNTRY and Gospel music powerhouse Tye Tribbett as the hosts for the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards . The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced the nominations for the  47th Annual GMA Dove  Awards  today  at Lipscomb University's Shamblin Theater in Nashville. Nominees from many diverse styles of gospel music were named in 44 categories.  Lauren Daigle led with 6 nominations, including Artist of the Year; Hillsong UNITED and Chris Tomlin garnered 5.  Songwriter Jason Ingram scored 7 nods, including Song of the Year. DOVE SEASON IS HERE! It's officially Dove Season again as the  47th Annual GMA Dove Awards  Nominees were announced today at Lipscomb University in Nashville.  The Awards ceremony will be held live on Tuesday, October 11 at Lipscomb University and will air on TBN on Sunday, October 16.  Voting for the final winners in Christian music's most prestigious awards show will run August 23 through August 30, 2016. The theme of the  47th Annual GMA Dove Awards is "Love, Amplified." The GMA Dove Awards celebrate the contributions of artists from every style of Christian/Gospel music.
