The aluminum pole is adjustable. It comes in a nice bright yellow color. This handy skimmer is good for anything small on top of your pool, pond or fountain. I put a penny in the photo for scale. The small net would be good for daily removal of a few leaves and small debris. This is not deep like a pool net. It is almost flat, so you could only remove a little debris at a time. That's why it is called a skimmer-- you only skim off small surface debris with it.
