 If you fear the Walking Dead and want to know what would prepare you for a zombie apocalypse or other end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it disaster, the following gear should help you get ready.   I admit it--I am a Christmas movie junkie. Every year I watch as many of them as I can. Starting in mid December, it is my goal to watch at least one a day and maybe 2 or 3 on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. 2020 has been no exception. With Coronavirus lurking in the background and a still-undecided election not quite behind us, holiday cheer is perhaps more needed now than ever, so I have happily watched at least one Christmas movie a day since Dec. 13.  While I enjoy most of the holiday movies, some Christmas movies as better than others. To make the top five list the movie has to be family friendly and have a moral a little deeper than "they fell in love and lived happily ever after." A good story, at least decent acting, and traditional values are are required as well as an abundance of holiday cheer. Christmas music is a definite plus.   As my regular readers know, I am a big fan of Skechers shoes. When I started walking, I was slew-footed with flat feet and weak ankles and had to wear casts for 6 months to try to straighten my legs and help my arches.. In middle school,  my mother put me in orthopedic shoes. Needless to say, they we re a big hit at school.  The point is, I have always had trouble finding comfortable shoes for my feet. Even in flats and tennis shoes, my feet always ache after standing or walking for a little while. However, someone gave me my first pair of Skechers last year and it changed my life.
