USDish’s latest report uncovers the top kids' Halloween movies in each state. You may be surprised which classic takes the “most popular” title.

  • Ghostbusters: Believe it or not, this classic gem from nearly four decades ago still reigns supreme as the most searched spooky kids' movie in a whopping 14 states

  • Scooby-Doo: Last year's champion, Scooby-Doo, might have slipped to second place this time, but it still holds the title as the most Googled film in 8 states. 

  • The Addams Family: The kooky, creepy 1991 film snagged the hearts of 7 states this year. 

  • And in a plot twist, fan-favorites like Coraline, Hocus Pocus (1993), Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Casper made their mark as the top choice in just one state each! Looks like every state has its own unique taste in Halloween spookiness.

  • In Tennessee the top classic Halloween movies is It's the Great Pumopkin, Charlie Brown. Last year In the state of Tennessee, Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th fame was listed as the top villain in US movies for Halloween, and Ghostbusters was named the most popular spooky kids’ movie.
