 Halloween Ends: Is Michael Myers the top horror villain in the US?



After 45 years of terror, the Halloween movie franchise is coming to an end. When Halloween Ends premieres on October 14, Michael Myers and Laurie will battle one final time. But who will prevail?

GetWindstream is celebrating spooky season with their second-annual report on the most popular horror villains in each state. (And yes, Michael Myers made the cut.)

This year, Patrick Bateman from American Psycho is keeping Americans up at night. The well-dressed slasher was googled most in 19 states.

Who Is the Top Villain in Tennessee?

In the state of Tennessee, Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th fame reigns as the top horror villain.

Check out these nightmarish findings… if you dare.

  • Despite the release of Halloween Ends this month, Michael Myers was searched most in only one state: West Virginia.

  • While Psycho’s Norman Bates was the most searched villain in the US last year, only North Dakota was curious about the serial killer this year.

  • Maine and Utah were the only two states that searched for Pennywise the most. The cannibalistic clown is a resident of the fictional city Derry, Maine.

'Naked and Afraid XL' and Mean Girl Cliques

I just finished watching the third season of "Naked And Afraid XL." I respect these people for leaving the comfort, safety and security of home to face unknown hardships in remote and inhospitable places. I wouldn't choose to do it, so my comments should be viewed knowing I realize I could not do what these people have done. In addition, I am aware that most of the action and dialogue takes place off camera. All my impressions are compliments of a cameraman and a film editor and the scenes they chose to share. A lot happens that that I am completely unaware of. With these two disclaimers in mind, let's talk about Mean Girl Cliques on "Naked And Afraid XL." Every girl comes up against them in elementary school. They become a force to be reckoned with in junior high and have usually become more sophisticated and somewhat nicer in high school.
