CBBPET 4 FT Rope Leash for Small Dogs--A Review

Image
CBBPET 4 FT Rope Leash for Small Dogs NOT for Small Dogs. I was asked to review this  CBBPET 4 FT Rope Leash for Small Dog s,  and I accepted because it said it was for small dogs. I got it for my 5 lb papillon. This leash is not for very small dogs. With that said, this would be a GREAT leash for training medium size and large, especially good for those dogs that lunge and pull or a rescue dog with behavioral problems. The leash is a thick and heavy and very sturdy. At 4 feet, it is a short leash. The handle is roomy and cushioned. In addition, the leash is reflective for safety. This would be an IDEAL leash to train a dog or control a dog which has bad habits. The sturdy leash would provide some cushioning from the shock of a lunging/pulling animal, as would the cushioned grip.  While I cannot recommend  CBBPET 4 FT Rope Leash  f or very small dogs, it is an excellent choice if you have a larger dog you need to train or control. Parkland, Florida School Shooting--A Former Teacher's Perspective | Christian Activities

A few thoughts on school shootings from a former teacher The Parkland, Florida, school shooting follows too quickly on the heels of other recent school shootings. As a teacher for many years you can imagine that I take school shootings close to heart. They break my heart as I can picture precious little faces I have loved and taught sitting in seats, feeling safe in their familiar school setting. On the other hand, as the daughter of a career military officer, I was brought up to have a healthy respect for guns.  Read full article at: Editorial: Parkland, Florida School Shooting--A Former Teacher's Perspective | Christian Activities Also see: Invest Your Loose Change Each Month with Acorns | Christian Activities Ask me about amazing clinical skincare products and start your way to clearer, healthier skin today! Syrian Refugees Need Aid? So do the Disabled, Sick, Widows, Orphans & Vets | Christian Activities

I don't have the answer on the Syrian refugee crisis. It is a complicated issue. Maybe my own story will shed some light one one angle of the debate. I don't plan to address the elephant in the room -- the fact some of these "starving refugees" look like strapping, seasoned soldiers and potential terrorists, because that is not a topic I feel qualified to discuss. But here is the OTHER problem I see with bringing these refugees into our communities. Read more at:  Syrian Refugees Need Aid? Dr. Morgan Wills: What to do if choking on honey

Dr. Morgan Wills: What to do if choking on honey After recently having a terrifying experience choking on honey, I conducted some research at various clinics and hospitals in the Nashville area where the overall response was "Call 911." See Choking on honey: What to do   However, Dr, Morgan Wills of Siloam Family Health Center in Nashville graciously returned my call and offered some more insight on what to do if someone is choking on honey. Choking on Honey: What to Do

Image
Choking on honey: What to do Honey is a thick, viscous fluid which can become trapped in a person's airway. While there are many articles written about using honey to remove obstructions from the throat, there is not much, if anything, written about what to do if someone is choking on honey. I had an experience where I was choking on honey and called the paramedics. I couldn't even speak by the time I had someone on the phone. By the time the paramedics arrived, the honey had dissolved enough for me to begin gasping for air.  The main thing is to NOT PANIC and not inhale it deeper while it is thick. Honey will slowly dissolve and thin out. Coughing helps to break it up if you can slowly suck in enough air to get a cough out.    Also see: Dr. Morgan Wills: What to do if choking on honey - Nashville Skin, Health & Beauty Examiner
