 The new Barbie Movie is in theaters. While the media and critics are gushing about how great and relevant the movie is, others have a different take on the movie.  Here are three articles that cover the hype as well as what the critical thinkers are saying about the 2023 Barbie film. What’s not to love? Well, apparently a lot.  Even a week or two before the release of the movie people were saying things like this post on Facebook: “How many people think that the Barbie movie is a waste of film?” Once the movie came out, while the mainstream media and the usual suspects in the Hollywood critics chorus chanted the same praise phrases, a few critical thinkers disagreed— a lot.  Both Elon Musk and Ben Shapiro pointed to the heavy-handed use of the word “patriarchy” throughout the movie.  Musk Tweeted , “

I have no issue with the man they sent out, but the price quoted was 3 times as much as the person who referred me thought it should be.  I went ahead and paid the 50% deposit, and they put 2 traps on top of my house. Then we had a couple of major wind storms, and my roof, gutters, trim, spotlights, and a couple of windows were pretty severely damaged, including quite a bit of damage around both areas where the holes had been.  My insurance company said it would take care of the damage, so I contacted Trapper Jack about getting a partial refund since they had done no repair work yet.   I had to keep leaving messages—both phone and text—and got the run around for weeks until I mentioned leaving a bad review and the possibility of retaining an attorney to help me get a refund if I didn't hear back from them
