Top 8 reasons Bristol Palin is still on 'Dancing with the Stars' As "Dancing with the Stars" Season 15 progress, Bristol Palin has continued to score at the bottom of the leader board, yet she has remained in the competition while Pamela Anderson, Joey Fatone , Drew Lachey and Helio Castroneves were sent home. We have all heard the claims during both Season 11 and the current All-Star Season that Bristol Palin only remains on "Dancing with the Stars" because of her mother and/or the Tea Party. Near the top of the leaderboard Emmitt Smith and partner Cheryl whose ferocious Paso Doble was shown again, Mariachis and all, causing Bruno Tonioli to exclaim, "The raging bull is back!" At the end of the night, Emmitt Smith and Bristol Palin were still safe, while Drew and Helio were sent home.
