The Easter season is here. The ancient church calendar calls this coming Sunday 'the first Sunday after Easter.' The period between now and Pentecost is called 'the Season of Easter."  This special and historic season is an excellent time to reflect upon the miracle of the resurrection and the establishment of the church, knowing the Christ's triumphant victory over death is a promise to believers of life after death. Don't put Easter away too quickly. It is arguably the most important holiday of the year and worth spending time contemplating and celebrating.
