November Nostalgia

November Nostalgia

November Nostalgia

The last golden leaves

Fell from the trees

And blew in the breeze.

The colors so bright,

Multi-hued delight.

Autumn took a wrong turn;

Colors we rarely see In Tennessee –

How the hillsides burn…

October Musings—a Poem for Fall

In a dark woods on this October night

An owl hoots his haunting lament.

When Autumn Calls

When Autumn Calls

~ When Autumn Calls, a Fall Poem ~

As the green of summer leaves

And the breezes stir the trees

Their cover heaves with color:

Older leaves are rediscovered.

And I want to run in the warm Autumn sun…

Autumnal Stir

Autumnal Stir

If I could escape at this time of year

And sail like a leaf down a river clear,

Happy my journey through autumn would be–

No claims, no distresses. . . freedom for me!

Descend, Fall

Descend, Fall

~ Descend, Fall—a poem for autumn ~

If the four seasons

Had ears to hear

I would ask the approaching Fall

Autumn’s Grace—Fall Poems

~ Autumn’s Grace—a collection of poems for fall ~ “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” (Psalm 24:1, NIV)
