Christian Sword Swallower on "America's Got Talent"

My friend Dan Meyer is a sword swallower. That's not all he is; he's a juggler, fire eater, writer, musician, horse lover, social networker, husband, friend, and Christian. You can read a devotional Dan wrote at "Swallowing My Pride."

Dan has one of the best online social networks I have ever seen, so I asked him to send in his top-ten list of tips to include in my book How to Promote Your Book on a Shoestring Budget which he graciously did. His tips are excellent!

While there are many articles written about using honey to remove obstructions from the throat, there is not much, if anything, written about what to do if someone is choking on honey. 'Naked and Afraid XL' and Mean Girl Cliques

I just finished watching the third season of "Naked And Afraid XL." I respect these people for leaving the comfort, safety and security of home to face unknown hardships in remote and inhospitable places. I wouldn't choose to do it, so my comments should be viewed knowing I realize I could not do what these people have done. In addition, I am aware that most of the action and dialogue takes place off camera. All my impressions are compliments of a cameraman and a film editor and the scenes they chose to share. A lot happens that that I am completely unaware of. With these two disclaimers in mind, let's talk about Mean Girl Cliques on "Naked And Afraid XL." Every girl comes up against them in elementary school. They become a force to be reckoned with in junior high and have usually become more sophisticated and somewhat nicer in high school.
