Trapper Jack Wildlife Removal Review

Earlier this year, I contacted Trapper Jack about a hole in my soffit caused by squirrels and another small hole in a different spot. I have no issue with the man they sent out, but the price quoted was 3 times as much as the person who referred me thought it should be.

I went ahead and paid the 50% deposit, and they put 2 traps on top of my house. Then we had a couple of major wind storms, and my roof, gutters, trim, spotlights, and a couple of windows were pretty severely damaged, including quite a bit of damage around both areas where the holes had been.

My insurance company said it would take care of the damage, so I contacted Trapper Jack about getting a partial refund since they had done no repair work yet.

I had to keep leaving messages—both phone and text—and got the run around for weeks until I mentioned leaving a bad review and the possibility of retaining an attorney to help me get a refund if I didn't hear back from them. I finally received a message from the company that was quite rude and threatened me with an attorney because I said I would post a bad review and possibly retain a lawyer.

We eventually worked out a partial refund, but I would never recommend Trapper Jack or do business with them again. The owner or office manager—whoever sends their messages— is unprofessional. belligerent and rude.

Apparently I am not the only customer to be insulted or to get no response to messages (until I mentioned a bad review), or to be threatened with possible legal action. PestControlReviews has a couple of reviews for Trapper Jack that sound strangely familiar.

Worse, here is an incident where the owner of Trapper Jack Wildlife Removal threatens to give out a customer’s phone number and address as well as threatening a lawsuit in a long rant on Yelp.

Ignoring messages, insulting customers, threatening lawsuits and threatening to dox a customer are behaviors that should give any potential customers pause. Trapper Jack Wildlife Removal earns 1 star out of 5. ⭐️
