I went with a friend to this beautiful fall festival of color at Cheekwood a couple of weeks ago. Full of flowers, pumpkins, and scarecrows in all shapes and sizes, it was well worth the trip.

 The Nashville fall festival Cheekwood Harvest is in full swing at the Cheekwood mansion through Oct. 22. In addition to the trees and autumn flowers which abound in Cheekwood's extensive gardens, the grounds are filled with fall's most colorful flower, the crysanthemum.

Choking on honey: What to do Honey is a thick, viscous fluid which can become trapped in a person's airway. While there are many articles written about using honey to remove obstructions from the throat, there is not much, if anything, written about what to do if someone is choking on honey. 'Naked and Afraid XL' and Mean Girl Cliques

I just finished watching the third season of "Naked And Afraid XL." I respect these people for leaving the comfort, safety and security of home to face unknown hardships in remote and inhospitable places. I wouldn't choose to do it, so my comments should be viewed knowing I realize I could not do what these people have done. In addition, I am aware that most of the action and dialogue takes place off camera. All my impressions are compliments of a cameraman and a film editor and the scenes they chose to share. A lot happens that that I am completely unaware of. With these two disclaimers in mind, let's talk about Mean Girl Cliques on "Naked And Afraid XL." Every girl comes up against them in elementary school. They become a force to be reckoned with in junior high and have usually become more sophisticated and somewhat nicer in high school.
