Nashville's 33rd Annual Oktoberfast pays homage to faith, friendship & fall fun

Oktoberfest in Nashville arrived with overcast skies and moderate temperatures on October 13, 2012. By midday as thousands of people gathered to enjoy the Germantown festival, the sun came out and made the day even more festive.


I went with my friend Pam and her husband Kenny, and I got to visit with my father's cousin as well as my friend Terry Kopansky from Civitan. It was a beautiful fall day and the festival was crowded, colorful and fun -- in other words, just about perfect!
