Boozy Bites Are a Fun Novelty Treat: a Review



If you haven't heard of Boozy Bites by Prim Improper, you are not alone. The cute little party treats are a brand-new new product, dubbed "The Champagne of Jello Shots." Boozy Bites is a female-founded and female-led brand, designed specifically to bring the fun to every occasion. 

The little gelatinous treats are 15% alc/vol, vegan, and currently offered in 4 cocktail inspired flavors, Rosé, Moscow Mule, Mojito, and Citrus Punch.

Boozy Bites Review

Boozy Bites are cute as a novelty at parties or a fun gift for a friend. They can be stored for up to 30 days without refrigeration. However, they are much better served cold. The flavor is sweet and not very strong and the gelatin texture, which is made from seaweed, is not quite like Jello. 

I am a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, because I rarely drink, but I could tell no effect after one Boozy Bites and barely any effect after two. I haven't tried to eat three yet. They were fun and a little tasty, and they are definitely something different to hand out, but I didn't find myself craving another one. 

I give Boozy Bites high marks for novelty, creativity, attractive presentation and easy storage, but they fell a little short in taste and overall appeal. However, they do ship straight to your door which is handy during a pandemic. I give Boozy Bites 3 stars out of 5 stars.

Choking on honey: What to do Honey is a thick, viscous fluid which can become trapped in a person's airway. While there are many articles written about using honey to remove obstructions from the throat, there is not much, if anything, written about what to do if someone is choking on honey. I had an experience where I was choking on honey and called the paramedics. I couldn't even speak by the time I had someone on the phone. By the time the paramedics arrived, the honey had dissolved enough for me to begin gasping for air.  The main thing is to NOT PANIC and not inhale it deeper while it is thick. Honey will slowly dissolve and thin out. 'Naked and Afraid XL' and Mean Girl Cliques

I just finished watching the third season of "Naked And Afraid XL." I respect these people for leaving the comfort, safety and security of home to face unknown hardships in remote and inhospitable places. I wouldn't choose to do it, so my comments should be viewed knowing I realize I could not do what these people have done. In addition, I am aware that most of the action and dialogue takes place off camera. All my impressions are compliments of a cameraman and a film editor and the scenes they chose to share. A lot happens that that I am completely unaware of. With these two disclaimers in mind, let's talk about Mean Girl Cliques on "Naked And Afraid XL." Every girl comes up against them in elementary school. They become a force to be reckoned with in junior high and have usually become more sophisticated and somewhat nicer in high school.
