Michael’s Balloon Bar Open 

If you have been to the Bellevue Michael’s at Bellevue One recently, then you know the store has added a balloon bar. Not only that, but rumor has it the store is going to increase the balloon bar offerings significantly and potentially add some ribbon and trim to the needle craft area within a month or so.



Memorial Day, Graduation & Summer Decor Now in Stock

The Bellevue One Michael’s has more square footage in the retail area than the neighboring store at Nashville West and is currently featuring patriotic decor for Memorial Day and July 4, as well as, graduation and summer decorations.

Drop by Michael’s for your holiday and special occasion balloon needs. There is already a nice selection of helium, mylar and latex balloons with more coming soon!

Bellevue farmers market is every Thursday evening at Bellevue Park from 4:00PM until 7:00 PM. Vendors, crafts, fresh fruits, and vegetables, food trucks and the red caboose playground are a fun evening for families in the Bellevue area.

Choking on Honey: What to Do

Choking on honey: What to do Honey is a thick, viscous fluid which can become trapped in a person's airway. While there are many articles written about using honey to remove obstructions from the throat, there is not much, if anything, written about what to do if someone is choking on honey. I had an experience where I was choking on honey and called the paramedics. I couldn't even speak by the time I had someone on the phone. By the time the paramedics arrived, the honey had dissolved enough for me to begin gasping for air.  The main thing is to NOT PANIC and not inhale it deeper while it is thick. Honey will slowly dissolve and thin out.
