Firestone Bellevue: Taking Care of Locals & Their Cars



~ Firestone Bellevue Better Than the Reviews ~ 

 I know Firestone in Bellevue has had some issues based upon reviews I have read, but I have used it for more than a couple of decades and had no reason to complain. I will admit I don’t get my tires there because I have found their tire prices a bit high, but for minor repairs, alignments, and mysterious dashboard alerts, I have found them reasonable and easy to work with. 

Recently a dashboard alert came on my brother’s truck, and I took it to the Bellevue Firestone. They were able to make an appointment for the same day, take me in pretty promptly, tell me what was wrong… and they didn’t even charge me. 

A couple of months ago, I took my car in for a different issue that required extensive body work which Firestone doesn’t do, but they were equally accommodating. In fact, they have been just about every time I have been there. I would definitely rate them a 4 or above.

Choking on honey: What to do Honey is a thick, viscous fluid which can become trapped in a person's airway. While there are many articles written about using honey to remove obstructions from the throat, there is not much, if anything, written about what to do if someone is choking on honey. I had an experience where I was choking on honey and called the paramedics. I couldn't even speak by the time I had someone on the phone. By the time the paramedics arrived, the honey had dissolved enough for me to begin gasping for air.  The main thing is to NOT PANIC and not inhale it deeper while it is thick. Honey will slowly dissolve and thin out.
