MAY 16th, 2026 - 47th Annual Bellevue Community Picnic



The 47th annual Bellevue Picnic will take place May 16th, 2026, in the recreational area behind Bellevue Middle School 11 am until 9:30 pm. Located at 655 Colice Jeanne Road Nashville, TN 37221, The Bellevue Community Picnic is an annual festival managed by the Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce.  Enjoy live music and engaging entertainment for the entire family, an amazing variety of food trucks, carnival rides, inflatable attractions, exhibitors, and businesses, plus an incredible fireworks display.

Bowling Night at New Day Church

May 1 will be a fun Bowling Night for young adults at Bellevue’s New Day Church. New Day Church is an active and friendly church in West Nashville that meets on Sundays on the second floor of the Bellevue Community Center (next to Ford Ice) on Highway 70 S. at 10:00 A.M. Bellevue Letter Carriers Food Drive May 9 




The Bellevue Post Office announces the Letter Carriers Food Drive on May 9, the second Saturday in May. Put your non-perishable contribution in a bag by your mailbox and the food will be delivered to a local food bank.

Mother’s Day and Patriotic Wares Now on Sale at Michael’s 




Michael’s at Bellevue One on Sawyer Brown Rd. has their July 4, Mother’s Day and America250 items out in addition to their new fabric section. There is a Mother’s Day photo op up in the store in addition to their expanded balloon section. Summer and patriotic goods are also on display. But they are still cutting hours so expect less staff. 

Complaint Conniptions: Find Something Better to Do with Your Time

Are you a frivolous complainer? Recently Bellevue Publix gave my prescription with my name, address, phone number and some of my medical info to the wrong person. They wouldn’t give me my own medicine, because their records showed it had been picked up. Then when I tried to matter-of-facts insist the issue be taken care of, the pharmacy manager on duty suggested I take my business elsewhere. I turned in a complaint. But some people complain if a helpful clerk wants to show you how to use self checkout. There is a time to complain and a time to keep your whining to yourself. Read more.
