The Crisis of Free Speech in America (and Globally)

Freedom of Speech is under fire on social media, Big Tech, government, national media, the public school system and on many college campuses. People are encouraged to express one side on many issues while opposing voices are shut down  this has caused a CRISIS OF FREE SPEECH as the First Amendment has come increasingly under fire by those who want to control the narrative.

Free Speech Under Fire on Social Media

Although you can slide some things into comments on social media like Facebook and Instagram, as far as posts, here is a partial list of things social media will censor, and you don’t have to be yelling “fire” in a theater or “threatening” anyone to be censored. You just have to have an opposing set of facts that challenges their beliefs. 

"You never learn the whole truth by only hearing half the story." 

Remember. This is a partial list of topics that will get you warned, suspended, shadow-banned or have your account closed on platforms that act like publishers, including Facebook and Twitter:

  • You cannot talk about the American Journal of Medicine’s recent positive article about hydroxychloroquine or all the other impressive research and data about this drug's effectiveness as an early treatment for COVID. 
  • You cannot discuss race and crime statistics or those posts will get pulled and you will get a warning. 
  • You cannot talk about the escalating genocide of Christians by Muslims in Nigeria and around the globe. 
  • You cannot talk about known problems with both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. 
  • You cannot talk about the possibility that the Russians manufactured some WWII stories when they entered Germany to create a smoke screen to hide atrocities the Russians committed in their own country. 
  • You cannot post memes with direct quotes from Democrats that incite violence. Those actual quotes are immediately labeled misinformation.
  • You now cannot talk about scientific evidence the much of Global Warming is cyclical in nature. 
  • FB just announced they will be “fact checking” posts about the United Nations from now on. You won’t be able to discuss flawed policies or other issues regarding the UN.  
  • And although there is massive documented evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 election, you cannot present it without it being labeled as misinformation or worse, having your account closed  

Posts that do not conform to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platform views are pulled, shadow banned or labeled as misinformation. These "platforms" continue to act more like publishers than platforms, because people’s accounts are suspended or closed if they dare to disagree with what the social media technocrats want their readers to believe. 

Some leftists take things even further, saying disagreeing with a lifestyle or choice is "hate" when it is really only disagreement. Such disagreements are not welcome by the left. 

Free Speech Under Fire in Schools & Businesses

Unfortunately, just as frequently, students cannot take an opposing view on these same issues in class. Employees frequently cannot talk about these topics at work many places without risk of "sensitivity" training or termination. Only one side of the discussion can be heard when the right to free speech is ignored.

Just because it "triggers" someone does not mean it shouldn't be said.

Christian Leader Franklin Graham says things may be about to get much worse. He says if moves by the government to impose their values on churches succeed, "It will threaten everyday speech where people can be fined or lose their jobs for using the wrong name or pronouns." Free Speech Is Our First Amendment Right

Free speech is not yelling “fire” in a theater as some argue, nor is it threatening or hate speech to simply disagree. It is the simple American right to present both sides of a story, and HALF THE COUNTRY is now denied that right on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Amazon, Instagram. In addition, the mainstream media—and not just the mainstream media. FOX news and NewsMax are also afraid of major lawsuits for simply REPORTING on Dominion voting machines.

The Left Owns the System

  • The leftist powers-that-be own the mainstream media which reports the leftist narrative in the U.S. and around the world.
  • The left owns Hollywood.
  • The left owns most of our government.
  • The left owns our largest cities. 
  • The left owns the public school system.
  • The left owns most of our universities.
  • The left owns Big Tech. 
  • The left owns much of Big Business.
  • The left owns the main search engine.
  • The left owns social media, and since social media is global, America's problem with censorship has become a global problem.
  • The left owns much of the courts.
  • And they are only allowing ONE narrative to be heard.

By the way, I don’t hold an opposing view to everything blocked by Facebook, but I think people should be allowed to discuss both sides of all these issues. You never learn the whole truth by only hearing half the story.

Choking on Honey: What to Do

Choking on honey: What to do Honey is a thick, viscous fluid which can become trapped in a person's airway. While there are many articles written about using honey to remove obstructions from the throat, there is not much, if anything, written about what to do if someone is choking on honey. I had an experience where I was choking on honey and called the paramedics. I couldn't even speak by the time I had someone on the phone. By the time the paramedics arrived, the honey had dissolved enough for me to begin gasping for air.  The main thing is to NOT PANIC and not inhale it deeper while it is thick. Honey will slowly dissolve and thin out. 'Naked and Afraid XL' and Mean Girl Cliques

I just finished watching the third season of "Naked And Afraid XL." I respect these people for leaving the comfort, safety and security of home to face unknown hardships in remote and inhospitable places. I wouldn't choose to do it, so my comments should be viewed knowing I realize I could not do what these people have done. In addition, I am aware that most of the action and dialogue takes place off camera. All my impressions are compliments of a cameraman and a film editor and the scenes they chose to share. A lot happens that that I am completely unaware of. With these two disclaimers in mind, let's talk about Mean Girl Cliques on "Naked And Afraid XL." Every girl comes up against them in elementary school. They become a force to be reckoned with in junior high and have usually become more sophisticated and somewhat nicer in high school.
